AMZShop is a point-of-sale application provided by AMZ Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how AMZShop collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app.
Information We Collect
- Store profile details such as business name, business type, address, contact person, phone number, and email address.
- User account details such as username, role, and login credentials used inside the app.
- Sales and order information, including products sold, order totals, payment method, discounts, VAT, receipts, and order history.
- Customer information, if entered by the store, such as customer name, contact details, and purchase history.
- Product, inventory, supplier, purchasing, expense, and report data entered by the store.
- Device and app information such as app version, device type, operating system version, push notification token, and account validation status.
- Images or files selected by the user, such as store logos, receipt attachments, or purchase-related attachments.
- Bluetooth printer information when the user connects a receipt printer.
How We Use Information
- To operate POS, checkout, inventory, purchasing, reporting, receipt, and business management features.
- To save and display store, product, customer, order, and transaction records.
- To validate app access, subscription status, app version support, and account eligibility.
- To send push notifications related to app messages, updates, or store operations.
- To generate receipts, reports, CSV exports, PDF exports, backups, and print previews.
- To improve app reliability, security, and support.
Data Storage
Most business data is stored locally on the user’s device. Some store profile, subscription, app version, and notification-related data may be stored securely online so the app can validate access and receive service messages.
Data Sharing
AMZShop does not sell personal data.
Data may be shared only when necessary with:
- Service providers used to operate app features such as cloud storage, account validation, app configuration, and push notifications.
- The user’s selected sharing destination when exporting or sharing receipts, reports, backups, or PDF/CSV files.
- Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law.
Permissions Used
- Bluetooth: used to connect and print to Bluetooth receipt printers.
- Notifications: used to receive app or store-related messages.
- Storage, media, camera, or file access: used when uploading logos, attachments, receipts, backups, or export files.
Permissions are used only for the features requested by the user.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Data Retention
Business records are retained for as long as they remain in the app or until the user deletes them. Locally stored records may remain on the device unless deleted by the user, cleared through app settings, or removed by uninstalling the app.
Online store profile and account validation records may be retained while the store account remains active or as needed for support, security, legal, and operational purposes.
Data Deletion
Users may delete app data from within the app where deletion features are available, by clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, or by contacting us to request deletion of online account or store profile records.

AMZShop is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
