iStore is operated by AMZ Solutions ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how iStore collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app.
iStore is a business management application designed to help store owners and staff manage products, inventory, customers, orders, payments, reports, and related business operations.
By using iStore, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. Store and Owner Profile Information
When setting up the app or updating business settings, we may collect:
- store name
- nature of business
- owner or primary contact name
- contact phone number
- contact email address
On Android, this store and owner profile information may also be synced to Firebase Firestore for account tracking, subscription validation support, update management, and operational support.
B. Business Operation Data Stored in the App
The app may store business records entered by the user, including:
- products and product variants
- pricing, cost, stock, and low-stock thresholds
- categories and supplier information
- customer records
- orders and payment records
- purchase and receiving records
- production records
- employee and payroll records
- expense records
- settings and local preferences
- receipts, exports, and backups created by the user
This business data is primarily stored locally on the device unless a feature explicitly syncs or exports it.
C. Device and App Information
On Android, when Firebase-backed features are enabled, we may collect:
- app version
- platform (Android)
- device type (Phone or Tablet)
- operating system version
This information may be used for troubleshooting, compatibility checks, support, subscription handling, and update prompts.
D. Diagnostics and Usage Data
If Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are configured in the Android app build, we may collect limited analytics and crash-related information, such as:
- app events
- screen usage signals
- crash logs
- non-fatal error reports
- technical diagnostics
This information helps us improve app stability and usability.
E. Push Notification Data
If push notifications are enabled on Android through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), the app may use a device messaging token to deliver notifications.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and manage the store profile
- support app setup and account administration
- enable core business features such as inventory, orders, customers, reports, and receipts
- sync store profile data to Firebase on Android where applicable
- validate subscription or entitlement state
- show app update prompts and compatibility notices
- send push notifications when enabled
- troubleshoot crashes and technical issues
- improve app quality, reliability, and feature support
- respond to support or operational concerns
3. What We Sync to Firebase
At this time, the Android app may sync the following store profile data to Firebase Firestore:
- store name
- business nature
- owner name
- owner phone
- owner email
- app version
- platform
- device type
- OS version
- timestamps related to profile creation and updates
5. Third-Party Services
iStore may use third-party services, including:
- Google Firebase Firestore
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Google Firebase Analytics
- Google Firebase Crashlytics
These services may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

6. Data Storage and Retention
Most business records in iStore are stored locally on the user’s device unless exported, backed up, or explicitly synced through supported features.
We retain synced store-profile information and related technical metadata only for as long as reasonably necessary for operational, support, subscription, update-management, security, and compliance purposes.
Locally stored data remains on the device until it is changed, deleted, backed up, cleared by the user, or removed through uninstall/reset actions.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting their devices, admin credentials, backups, and exported files.
8. Your Choices and Controls
Depending on how you use the app, you may be able to:
- update store profile information in the app settings
- edit or delete local business records
- disable or decline notification permissions at the device level
- uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from the device
- contact us to request review or deletion of synced store-profile data, where applicable

9. Children’s Privacy
iStore is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Data Processing
If you use iStore outside the Philippines, your information may be processed or stored in other countries through third-party service providers such as Google Firebase.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice inside the app or through other appropriate means.
